Eric Péron, our exceptional sailor, has just written a new page in the history of sailing by completing a solo round-the-world trip aboard a multihull. After crossing the finish line of the Arkea Ultim Challenge on March 13, 2024 at 2:45 p.m., after 66 days of effort, he became the 11th sailor to achieve this extraordinary feat.

Leaving Brest on January 7, 2024 , Eric Péron embarked on an extraordinary adventure, confronting the elements of the sea. His journey was strewn with pitfalls, but his unwavering determination guided him across the oceans , defying storms and contrary winds.

Despite the difficulties encountered along the way, Eric Péron never gave up . His strategy was not to win the race, but simply to finish it. Aware of not having the most efficient boat, he took on this challenge with courage and resilience.

The day before his arrival, Eric Péron expressed his joy and relief, declaring " Being at the start was mission impossible. Being at the finish is an achievement. Here we are! "
