Why Royal Mer?

I chose Royal Mer, because it is an emblematic brand of my childhood and my family world. My loved ones have always worn Royal Mer sweaters.
I also share the company's values: the heritage of know-how, French manufacturing and the durability of the parts.

For you, what are the 3 ingredients for a successful collection?

The first thing is creativity, that is to say having an aesthetic proposal that is attractive and that pleases our customers.

The second ingredient is to work well on the cuts and of course the colors of our products.

And of course we have to think about it over the long term, thinking about sustainable fashion both in terms of materials and aesthetics.

What is your vision of fashion today?

Today, more than ever, I think there is a huge issue regarding the sustainability of the products we wear. The culture of novelty and change has taken hold with our consumption patterns, sometimes making clothing a disposable product.
At Royal Mer, I am committed to creating and offering you a piece knitted in a beautiful material, a durable stitch and made using know-how spanning generations.

What are the challenges of your position, and of Royal Mer?

Each Royal Mer product is designed to last, reflecting the brand's know-how which stands the test of time... Added to durability is the value of timelessness. When a product is simple and beautiful, you know it won't go out of style!

Which Royal Mer model could define you?

The Sybille model, a cable-knit wool sweater, reminiscent of an Irish sweater, revisited in a bright red color.

What model would you dream of creating at Royal Mer?
