For you, what is the place of women in the professional environment in general?
Women have their place in the world of work and their conditions have evolved significantly over recent decades. Significant improvements can be seen in terms of parity and working time arrangements, but inequalities persist regarding remuneration.
How do you manage the demands of your job while balancing your family responsibilities?
For my part, it is important to maintain a good balance between work and family life. To reconcile my professional and personal lives, I chose part-time work. Having 3 children allows me to have professional development while maintaining privileged time with my family.
Are there solutions to improve the quality of life of employees with family responsibilities in the workplace?
A certain number of initiatives have already been put in place to alleviate the constraints weighing on mothers, notably the establishment of parental leave, the provision of a breastfeeding room, the organization of working hours , or even a childcare service for certain companies. Such initiatives are beneficial for women but also children, businesses and the economy!
What steps do you think companies can take to improve gender equality in the professional world?
To promote gender equality within the professional world, certain actions can be implemented such as degendering job titles and thus combating stereotypes, further promoting paternity leave, but also eliminating inequalities in pay.
