Royal Mer favours and selects top quality natural fibres (100% virgin wool, fine merino wool, cotton, alpaca, etc.).
Knitwear is a living material, which is why we allow it to rest for at least 5 days to stabilise.
This resting time is essential and guarantees a quality garment that preserves its appearance season after season. Once assembled, each piece is checked and sometimes “remaillée” by hand to ensure a meticulous finish.
It is from the yarn that everything starts and as there are thousands of them, the work of knitting opens up an infinite field of creativity and combinations.
After choosing the yarn and the stitch that will structure the garment, the designer works in close collaboration with highly qualified technicians.
In order to facilitate the exchanges inherent to the feasibility and quality requirements, the design office is nestled in the heart of the knitting workshop.

Size: The Knit-1 is a unisex shoe. We tried to combine our innovative design with all foot types. However, we have found that it is best to choose a size smaller than the one usually worn for thinner foot shapes. Users with a strong instep will prefer their usual shoe size.
